Shug

This has been such a difficult week for us. A very dear and close friend passed away on Tuesday. Shug was like a brother to me and his passing has come as such a shock. The world is much poorer for his passing. RIP, my friend... We all love you so much.

Greyson and Aidan pics

We're home again after spending a week down in Port Lavaca/Victoria. We had such a great time. The kids enjoyed spending time with their granparents and cousins and aunts and uncles. The week went by entirely too fast, but was relaxing for the most part. We spent this past weekend in Rockport and was a perfect end to our week. Greyson and Aidan enjoyed playing in the pool, especially Greyson. She is taking to the water really well. It was so cute to watch her and her daddy together. Aidan, on the other hand, is a bit more hesitant and not quite the risk taker his sister is. It took him awhile to get acclimated to the water, but once he did, it was tough to get him out. Looks like swimming lessons will be on the agenda for next summer.

Rob has been busily studying for his finals. I am so proud of his determination and his drive. I know he will do well. And, I will be happy that the summer session is almost over which means he'll have some spare time. Yay!
